Valerie Shoaps is a sports photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Covering all types of action sports, sports photojournalism and music, she loves photographing anything that moves.

Shooting professionally for a number of years, she combines her passion for photography with her other favorite interests. "Photography provides me a way to be involved beyond just a spectator - it's a way of melding with the subject to bring out what they do and reveal their character." Valerie is also featured as one of San Francisco’s best sports photographers of 2021 by Giggster.
